Stranges Lane – history attached

Christchurch’s iconic Stranges Lane after an early morning clean. One of the many repeat cleaning projects we complete every few months.

The original Stranges building was a key part of Christchurch’s heritage, one which sadly ended in a crumbling finale after the 2010 & 2011 earthquakes. It was the site of one of the first – if not the very first ‘Red Zone’ rebuilds in the city CBD so was a much-celebrated development and remains a modern icon today.
