About Us
ADLER Commercial Building Wash Services has a long history in commercial maintenance cleaning for New Zealand’s major commercial real estate management companies as well as many others besides.
Previously operating under the PJF brand – this division was rebranded in 2018 to better reflect our type of service. In fact, we thought we’d grow a pair of wings and go to market under our new brand – ADLER.
Since you asked, ‘where did Adler come from’ – well sit tight and we’ll explain;
Coming up with a new name for an existing brand/business is actually a lot harder than it looks! We wanted to go ‘animal’ so in the end the mighty eagle was selected, it’s the apex predator in the avian world (which is a good start). Like us, eagles enjoy flying at high altitude for great lengths of time, this is one characteristic that makes them unique, also (insert drum roll).. an eagle will never surrender to the size or strength of its prey.
The name ADLER to us represents strength, competitiveness and remaining the top of the game. (side note; Adler means ‘Eagle’ in German)
We have office locations in both Auckland and Christchurch and we have the skill and expertise to effectively manage any small or large-scale building wash project throughout the country. Our ready team of cleaning operators will transform those first impressions for you – year in year out.

We believe in the often-quoted saying that people buy off people, and it’s the people that make the difference at ADLER. You can expect to be treated as a professional and with respect.
This is something we live and breathe at ADLER, it’s drummed into our operators and customer service people so the same professional vibes are felt from every department in our team.
Commercial cleaning services are an essential component in every commercial property maintenance programme, and there are many thousands of people providing such services. The services we provide are similar to many others and we can’t really make them any more glamorous! .. so it is the people that make the difference at the end of the day.
We stay keenly attuned to the feedback we get from our clients and their tenants or building inhabitants – what they say about our people – and also about other cleaning teams that have worked on their property in the past – is like finding gold. It helps us to know what we need to do better!
We aim to leave all stakeholders happy at the end of the clean because we know if we can do that – it makes your job easier, and that is a good thing.

Andrew Fisher
Managing Director
A guy that loves cleaning.. he seriously does! When school was out he joined the family painting and property maintenance business, spending around 4 years on the end of a KEW Hot water pressure cleaning unit doing everything from graffiti removal, footpath cleaning in the CBD, and steam cleaning ship loading equipment before the mechanics serviced them (i.e. crawling around trucks and forklifts getting covered in black grease). That was the hands-on experience. After that, 11 years + spent in the chemical industry provided some invaluable knowledge on what products to use and where to point them. He has a background in troubleshooting and loves to find solutions.
Andrew looks after property managers and their clients through NZ and oversees the ADLER cleaning experts in each centre

Geoff Scott
Operations Manager - National
Geoff the ref we call him, a rugby coach in the season and a bundle of knowledge when it comes to the game. Geoff’s been around a while and as it turns out there are not many people he doesn’t know. he has an unusually large database of people up there in his faculties – where he finds time to meet them all we’ll never know.
As our founding head cleaning operator for the Canterbury and Southern region, Geoff has a good handle on the Adler operation and now heads up our operations nationally. He manages our Health & Safety on all sites and schedules our teams up and down the country.

Jeff Fautua
Team Leader - Auckland
Jeff is new to our Auckland team and is an excellent addition to our operation. Previously an operations manager for a large shelving company, Jeff has run a commercial cleaning operation as a side hustle – he’s seen the opportunities and has decided to chuck in the manager’s role and take up cleaning full time along with a hard-working crew.

Kurt Borland (from a distance!)
Christchurch Operator
You’ve guessed correctly – Kurt is a brother to Dean and they are a great team. Kurt is is our Gutter cleaning specialist (yes there is such a qualification) and is a great all-rounder.
He also plays a mean Ice Hockey game and sometimes comes to work slightly worse for the wear – it’s quite hazardous out on the Ice rink. Cleaning gutters 12 metres up being dived bombed by big seagulls is mild by comparison!
